Built by a horse family in Oklahoma.
EqTek didn't start in a tech incubator. It started after years of farm-sitting and barn management convinced Lucy and Tyler there had to be a better way to keep track of animal care.
Barn knowledge shouldn't live on a whiteboard.
Most barns run on sticky notes, a smudged dry-erase board, and one person who knows how everything works. When that person is sick or away, the routine falls apart.
Lucy and Tyler wanted feeding instructions a new weekend hand could follow with confidence, medical notes that don't rub off, and water levels you can check without driving out to every pasture. And it had to work in steel barns and back pastures with no Wi-Fi and no cell signal, because that's where the animals are.

Built from the barn
Every feature solves a real daily chore. If it doesn't make barn work easier, it doesn't go in the app.
Works where Wi-Fi doesn't
Stall screens update straight from your phone over Bluetooth, and water sensors reach a barn base station up to 2+ miles away. No cell plans required.
Fair to small barns
The app is free for up to 5 animals. Hardware is priced for the family farm and local trainer, not just large commercial operations.
